I'm Don, Donny, don, donaldo, ducky, don juan, don jr, Dr. Fun, Bean(y), dad(dy), pop(py)/(op).
I am a freak. I'm a deadhead. I'm a dad. I take your photo. I cook the dinner, I make the cocktails, and I work locally to make my world a place more beautiful.
If you circle me here, be advised I have three different streams of blather about three very different topics.
This profile, Don LaVange, is my main persona. I have a wide range of interests and I post and share often on topics as diverse as #dinneratmyhouse where I blab about what I'm cooking up for dinner, #grandbabies where I annoy any young person that accidently circled me with my fawning obsession over my grandchildren or other sentimental blitherings, #observations where I -- well make observations about crap I know nothing about, and #ponitification where I spout stuff I know TOO much about and NO one wants to hear.
I'm an old jack of all and master of none, and I keep avoiding mastery of what I'm close to in pursuit of the periphery. Such as it is. As such, I'll continue to add types of posts using #hashtags as above.
I have a Google+ philosophy in terms of usage. I like to make public posts. I don't try to guess which circle you have me in. For instance, I'm a photographer -- but if you circle me here just for photography you'll find I make a lot of posts that have nothing to do with photography. And if I do post a photograph, it's likely to be not something that I post over on my flickr or smugmug site from my decent camera, but something from my cell phone (which takes decent pictures).
I'm not here to sell anything and I really don't want to buy anything.
I assume that you are using both Google+ noise control and circles in such a way that if I interest you then you read what I write.
Don H, LaVange - (currently unimplemented) My work related profile. Here I post and link to things related to my obsession: workflow management. I follow the GTD method, use Omnifocus, DEVONthink and Tinderbox to grapple with those problems. I use Lightroom for Photography.
Don LaVange is currently not a very active profile, but in the future it will be dedicated to my photography work.
